March 2025 Outfits
Everything I wore in March, plus a 3 month update on my 2025 No Buy
March brought a fresh mix of everyday outfits and travel looks, with a local staycation with friends and a week-long trip to Paris shaping a lot of what I wore. I found myself reaching for pieces that could flex between comfort and polish—especially with so much time out and about. In this post, I’m recapping my favorite outfits from the month, sharing the three things I’ve added to my wardrobe so far this year (a reworked denim jacket, two vintage coats, and a gifted shirt), and spotlighting the items I wore most in March—and throughout the year so far.
As I continue to be intentional with what I bring into my wardrobe — as well as fully transparent here — I wanted to share the few pieces that were added over the past month:
Reed Vintage Reworked Patchwork Denim Jacket — A beautiful upcycled piece made entirely from vintage denim. I love the character it adds to even the simplest outfit. These jackets are also available exclusively at Natalie Borton Designs in our Solana Beach location!
Vintage Coats — I found two special vintage coats while I was in Paris. One is waterproof with a hood (practical and chic), and the other is a dark green beauty with a removable leather collar. It’s similar to another vintage piece I own, so I’ll likely part with that one to keep my wardrobe edited.
Sold Out NYC Cropped Shirt — Gifted to me by my friend Kiane for my Paris trip. It’s a fun, modern twist on the classic button-down and was perfect for layering while traveling.
Here is everything I wore this month:
This month included two trips — on staycation with friends locally, and one big trip to Paris. These were my favorite outfits from the month…
Over the last month, these are the items that got the most amount of wear:
14k Fine Lou Hoops (27 wears)
Malibu Sunglasses in Black (12 wears)
Berkeley Sunglasses in Amber (12 wears)
Natalie Belt in Black (11 wears)
Cropped raw hem jeans (11 wears)
Brown alpaca sweater (10 wears)
Gold Mary Jane flats (9 wears)
Finn Bandana (8 wears)
Natalie Belt in Chocolate Suede (8 wears)
White cropped tank (8 wears)
And so far for the year, these pieces have proven to be my biggest wardrobe workhorses, getting the most wear of anything else:
JEWELRY: 14k Fine Lou Hoops (88 wears!), Marlowe Link Chain (51 wears!), 14k Fine Full Circle Diamond Coin Necklace (26 wears) & 14k Fine Amour Diamond Heart (26 wears), 14k Fine Textured Colette Hoops (19 wears)
SUNGLASSES: Malibu Sunglasses in Black (31 wears), Berkeley Sunglasses in Amber (27 wears)
Natalie Belt in Black (26 wears)
Cropped raw hem jeans (23 wears)
Gold Mary Jane flats (21 wears)
Dark wash barrel jeans (18 wears)
Brown alpaca sweater (15 wears)
Baggy wide leg jeans (14 wears)
Brown cardigan (14 wears)
Black racerback tank top (13 wears)
Black ballet flats and tan ballet flats (12 wears each!)
Sera Crescent Bag in Chestnut Suede (12 wears)
Hickory croc loafers with charms (12 wears)
Looking back on March, I’m reminded how much I value versatility, comfort, and a sense of ease in getting dressed — especially when traveling or shifting between seasons. The pieces I wore most this month (and this year so far) have proven that style doesn’t have to be complicated to feel good. As always, I hope this inspires you to revisit your own wardrobe and get creative with what you already have.
xx Natalie
P.S. I’ll be in Portugal for a 9-day trip this month, and I’ll be sharing my full packing list with The Effortless Style Club — can’t wait to take you along!
