March, Lately
A slightly unhinged habit, studio updates, my most worn jeans, and a dark thriller that has me on the edge of my seat.
Over the years I’ve tried to find the perfect travel coffee cup. There have been many attempts. Many purchases. None of them quite right.
At some point this past year I finally accepted the truth: I only really enjoy coffee in a real mug.
So now my morning commute consists of driving around with a ceramic mug from my kitchen, full of freshly brewed espresso. It’s slightly unhinged behavior, but I stand by it. And I think it’s also part of a larger realization — the little details in our everyday routines matter more than we think.
So today’s note is a bit of a collection of those things: what’s been happening at the studio, what I’ve been wearing lately, what I’ve been reading — small things that bring me joy and make up my day to day.
At the Studio
Our March Drop is officially live, featuring the new Mara Bag in Two-Tone along with a curated edit of vintage blazers, outerwear, and denim.
We also just had a big delivery yesterday — the Vesper Totes arrived and will be launching April 8th. Join the waitlist here to be the first to shop next month. They are so luxe and practical all at once!! It’s a bag I’ve been using daily for months, and also my go-to “personal item” when I travel because it holds a ton and fits nicely under the seat on a plane.
We also have several favorites that will be restocking soon. I always recommend opting in for the “notify me” option on the product page, because that automates an email to you whenever we have positive inventory again.
And one more date to note:
On March 24, we’ll be launching one final run of the NBD x GenerateHope Japanese Pearl Bracelets. This is a piece that feels especially meaningful, with a 100% of proceeds supporting the incredible work GenerateHope does to help survivors of human trafficking rebuild their lives.
What I’m Wearing Lately
I have had my Bubble Jeans for a couple of years now and they’ve become one of the most worn pants in my wardrobe.
They have a slightly curved, sculptural shape that somehow manages to feel relaxed but still intentional, which I love. They’re the kind of jeans that do a lot of the styling work for you because they have a great shape, and make really simple outfits feel more interesting.
Here are a few ways I like to wear them (mine are the Westbury and Dorado washes)…
What I’m Reading
I’m almost finished with Girl Dinner by Olivie Blake and… wow.
It’s sharp, strange, and escalates in ways I definitely didn’t see coming. I won’t spoil anything, but if you enjoy dark thrillers about modern culture, this one is worth adding to your list.

Where can I find that sheer brown button down? Love!
I'm with you on the ceramic mug - I cannot enjoy coffee in a thermos!
