My 2025 Wardrobe Inventory
A full photo index of everything that's currently in my closet.
Let’s just start things off with saying that transparency is my goal with this entire No Buy series. Documenting every single thing in my closet was a tedious and mildly exhausting process that took me hours and hours and hours, but after taking account of every single thing I have available to wear (so many things!!) and watching the Buy Now documentary, I’ve never been more confident in my 2025 No Buy.
I decided to hold off on a full closet edit before this process and not rush to “purging” for the sake of a smaller wardrobe, because one thing I know for sure is that if things are not given away or sold with intention, they just end up in a landfill. I’d rather hang on to them and see the data on what pieces I wear, and what pieces I can thoughtfully let go of — or not! Honestly, while there are more items in here than I thought, I can confidently say I really do love my wardrobe and that’s something I’m thankful to be feeling after years of working on understanding my own personal style .
So, with that said, buckle up — here’s a full overview of my 2025 closet, which is fully inclusive of clothing, shoes, and bags as well as my everyday jewelry (you can also see it here on Indyx). Pajamas, loungewear and workout clothes are not included. I also may have missed a few special event dresses (I may add later!). I do plan to update the photos with hangers over time because I really hate how that looks, but for now I decided it was good enough.
This took me forever, but it was woooorthhh ittttt. Here. We. Go.
First up, TOPS — this is the largest category of all of them because it also includes all sweaters and cardigans.
Next, BOTTOMS — mostly baggy jeans and pants, trousers, some shorts and a few skirts.
Then I have my DRESSES & JUMPSUITS — my smallest category overall.
Now here’s my beloved OUTERWEAR — which admittedly is way too large for someone who lives in my climate, but I will say many of these pieces are vintage or secondhand and I really love them all. No regrets here!
Then, SHOES — I have more in this category than I realized, but I do feel I have all occasions and situations covered with what’s in here so that’s good news.
Then we have another big category, BAGS — this likely won’t be surprising to anyone who has known me for a while. I love a good accessory! Over time, I do see myself gifting, donating or selling a lot of these but for now I’m still loving what I’ve collected over the years.
Lastly, I decided to go above and beyond and add in all of my JEWELRY, SUNGLASSES and OTHER ACCESSORIES (like bandanas, hats, bag straps). I may have missed a piece or two, but this feels fairly accurate at a glance. Note that this category will expand a little bit over the course of the year as I add other pieces I design for my own brand!
I’ll continue to share updates on my journey throughout the year, especially as I get more data on what I’m wear most (or least). For now, here’s a peek at my most worn items so far…
These items would actually make a pretty great capsule, don’t you think?
Love the transparency of this! I’m so nosy about other people’s closets 😂
