November is here, and it’s shaping up to be a really big month for us at Natalie Borton Designs. We just launched our brand new collection with THATCH Jewelry, bringing together timeless pieces perfect for the season, and we’re thrilled to kick off a 6-month pop-up at TEJIDO in Carmel! Plus, later this month, we’ll be introducing our much-anticipated black croc belts and some other new styles at MARCHÉ, just in time for holiday gifting. As always we’ll be sharing all about it along the way and behind the scenes at @nataliebortondesigns in Instagram if you want to follow along.
With Thanksgiving and holiday gifting around the corner, I’m also hosting a really fun virtual and in-person event with Clare V (details below!) that I can’t wait to share with you all. I hope you’re as excited as I am to embrace everything this month brings — stay tuned for all the details and some special holiday surprises along the way!
I also know that this season can be a really stressful and overwhelming time for many of us, with work, endless to-do lists, social gatherings, and the pressure to make everything extremely memorable or “just right.” For me, it also brings back memories of a dear friend I lost around this time of year who I miss very much.
My hope for us this year is that we can approach this season with a fresh mindset — one where we give ourselves grace, let go of perfection, and focus on what truly brings us joy and connection. My personal goal is to keep things simple and intentional, and to let go of the rest.
P.S. One last October moment for you from last night…
Thought of the Week
Don’t Miss Out on Secondhand Outerwear
Coat season is here, and outerwear is, without a doubt, my favorite category to shop for when I’m shopping secondhand. There’s something special about finding a pre-loved coat or jacket with a bit of history, knowing it’s a one-of-a-kind piece you won’t see on everyone else. Over the years, I've found so many amazing outerwear pieces this way — each one with its own unique details, craftsmanship, and often, timeless style. Shopping secondhand for outerwear is a treasure hunt, revealing quality materials and designs that can’t always be found in today’s fast-fashion offerings.
Another thing I love about secondhand outerwear is the quality you often discover. Many vintage or pre-owned jackets and coats were built to last, with heavier fabrics and attention to detail that make them both stylish and durable. It’s also a more sustainable way to build my wardrobe, as I can shop for beautiful, well-crafted pieces without contributing to the demand for new materials. Plus, adding a unique secondhand jacket or coat into the mix keeps my style fresh and interesting!
These are my favorite spots to shop secondhand or reworked pieces, and below are some of my best finds over the years & how I’ve styled them.
Havre Studio (the best blazers!!)
Worn Vintage (new to me, but I’m eyeing some things!!)
Just Dropped
Our Holiday Collection with THATCH Jewelry just dropped and I am so happy with how it turned out! This collection was born out of a shared passion for blending elegance with ease — jewelry that’s sophisticated but never over-the-top, making it perfect for layering, dressing up, or adding a subtle touch to everyday outfits. Read more about the collection here, and take a peek at our moodboard and the final pieces below!
The mood for this holiday season is elegant, understated luxury with a refined, modern aesthetic. The overall vibe is sophisticated yet relaxed, focusing on minimalist, high-quality essentials. We’re wearing warm, earthy tones, and pairing it with delicate yet impactful jewelry, emphasizing stacked rings, layered necklaces, and small hoop earrings that enhance effortless, everyday looks without overpowering them.
Our ideal holiday vibe is intimate and cozy but also polished — perfect for someone who values both comfort and sophistication during the holiday season. This collection is ideal for gatherings that are both laid-back and stylish, where subtle elegance makes a statement.
Which piece is your favorite? Shop our limited edition collection here.
This month we also have more French Pins and Natalie Belts coming out that you will not want to miss out on — be sure you’re on the 1st Dibs list, because these items historically sell out quite quickly.
Save the Date: 20% Off Clare V

What I’m Reading & What’s Up Next
READING NOW: Geneva by Richard Armitage | I finished my book last week and grabbed this at the airport on our way out of Zurich — it’s thriller based in Switzerland, which felt like the perfect thing after my trip!
NEXT UP: Dinner for Vampires by Bethany Joy Lenz and The Boyfriend by Frieda McFadden, both coming in my November Book of the Month box.
Hope you have a great weekend — until next time!
