Week in Review #24: The Season of All the Things
Balancing busyness, reflection, and the beauty of the holidays.
This season is always such a whirlwind, both in business and in my personal life. Why are there so many school events and emails?! Managing my gmail inbox alone feels like another full-time job. I’m both eager to fast forward to the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and also not wanting to rush through this special season. Every year I’m pulled back and forth between those two feelings — wanting to be present and wanting to fast forward to the slowest week of the year when time seems to lose all meaning and I barely leave my house.
As Christmas get closer (literally just days away!!) I’ve been reflecting on how much has happened over the past year. It’s been a time of incredible growth — not just in my business, but for me personally too. I’m so thankful for the support of my amazing team, the excitement from all of you, and the opportunities that have helped this brand continue to grow and expand. Having a front row seat to watching it all take shape has been so rewarding.
As we near the end of year I no doubt will have many more reflective thoughts (I can’t help myself), but for now, I’m feeling incredibly grateful and excited for what’s ahead. It’s such a privilege to be part of your lives through what my team and I create, and that’s something I’ll never take for granted.
Here’s to staying grounded and present, enjoying the little moments with loved ones, and finding the magic in this busy, beautiful season.

Thought of the Week
The Drop Necklace
Last week I took a trip to Nashville to relaunch The Drop Necklace, a special, minimalist, heirloom piece we designed in partnernship with our friends at Yearly Co. Their warm hospitality and shared dedication to meaningful accessories made my time there feel extra special.
Aside from seeing their new store and spending time with their team, one of the highlights of the trip was connecting with customers — both those who have been part of our journey for years and new faces discovering our brand for the first time. Hearing personal stories about how our pieces have become part of their lives was deeply inspiring and reaffirmed the joy and purpose behind what we do!

NBD x KR Vintage Recap
My friend Karla Reed and I hosted our first-ever vintage event together last weekend at the NBD Studio and it was so much fun. The patchwork jackets are one-of-a-kind pieces from KR Vintage that were definitely a huge hit.
Here’s a little peek at our afternoon — it was such a treat to meet so many of you in person and I can’t wait for even more IRL moments in 2025 as we move into our new, larger space in Solana Beach.
