Week in Review #28: A weekend away + a exciting studio updates
Plus 5 picks from Sézane and what's dropping next week from NBD
This morning I’m heading out of town with girlfriends for a weekend away that we’ve been planning for months — good conversation, relaxation, secondhand shopping and time to dive into my latest book club read. There’s something about stepping away from the usual routine that always sparks fresh inspiration, and I always love the chance to spend quality time with my friends. I’ll be sure to share my packing list once I’m home, too!
Meanwhile, we made major progress on our studio space this week, and couldn’t be more excited to see it all coming together. Every little detail is bringing the vision to life, and it’s already starting to feel like such a special place. Here’s a peek at where things stand right now! Next up: styling the space with our jewelry and accessories — arguably the most fun part. We can’t wait to welcome you in when it’s ready. If you’re local to Southern California, here are the details on our grand opening next month.
Wishing you a restful weekend, whether you’re traveling like me or soaking up slow moments at home. And perhaps a little bit of football (or in my case — Super Bowl commercials, half time and nachos).
Thought of the Week

The following is a paid promotion from Sézane, a woman-founded, B-Corp certified brand I love and have been partnering with since last year.
5 Picks from Sézane’s “Amour Club” Collection
Sézane is one of my favorite brands and they just dropped their February Amour Club edit, full of gorgeous pieces to wear anywhere from everyday mom life to the office to a date night out. Below are my 5 favorites from the collection.
Kylie Cardigan | I already own it in the cream color and I love how it looks in the black — easily worn for day or evening. True to size for the fitted look.
Heloise Dress | The most gorgeous knit dress I’ve ever laid eyes on.
Aubane Low Babies | This year I’m very much into pairing my baggy jeans with a feminine shoe and this one is adorable. A great option for spring and summer as a sandal alternative, too.
Tomboy Shirt with Hearts | A denim shirt is always a yes in my book, and this one is a great way to have a hearts moment without it feeling overly sweet. I’d size up a couple sizes in this one, which runs smaller than the Max Shirt.
Alva Jumper | A gorgeous knit with a delicate crochet finish on the neckline.
ICYMI, this week I also mixed & matched my tried and true Sézane favorites. Here are the four looks I put together, plus links for those interested…
End of partnership content.
February Moodboard
This month, I’m embracing being present. Instead of searching for what’s next, I’m settling into what’s here, right now. I’m trusting my instincts, making space for what truly matters, and finding luxury in the simplicity of well-chosen details and moments with the people I love.
In my wardrobe, that means leaning on pieces that feel like home to me — timeless, effortless, and easy. In life, it means moving with intention, valuing depth and quality over excess, and savoring the everyday moments that make up something bigger.
Less noise, more clarity. Fewer distractions, more meaning. This month, I’m focusing on what lasts and cherishing time with loved ones.
Here’s what’s dropping next week on Wednesday, 2/12…
Japanese Pearl Bracelet (100% of profits will be donated to GenerateHope)

What I’m Reading This Week
FICTION: The Other Mothers by Katherine Faulkner (I was in charge of picking the book for my book club this month and this was my pick!)
NON-FICTION: A Woman’s Place by Katelyn Beaty (Still making my way through this one — so far I’m liking it.)
Hope you have a great weekend — until next time!
xx

Thanks for the book recommendation, The Other Mothers. I listen to audio books usually and this one is on audio books in my Libby App. Enjoying it! Keep listing books, it's a good way to get info on new reads.
