What I Wore This Week | 01
Loose pants, corduroy jacket, an olive dress and a lot of barely there sandals.
Based on your feedback (thank you, by the way!!) I’m making an adjustment to the cadence of posts. Starting now, I’ll share just two posts a week. On Tuesdays, I’ll send out a “What I Wore This Week” post, which will summarize the looks from the week and provide links when available. And then on Fridays, the “Week in Review” series will continue as usual!
Here’s what I wore over the past week…
WEDNESDAY: My friend Conni and I drove up to LA to celebrate the Ozma of California store opening (Natalie15 for 15% off), but for the morning I was in mom mode and helped out at my kids’ school. I just added this sweater on top so I wasn’t running around in a crop top. This is the first time I’ve worn my loafers with these trousers and I was very into it.
THURSDAY: I spent the day packing orders, so comfort and good sneakers were my top priority. I’m still very much in my baggy jeans era. I was skeptical when I first bought these jeans that I’d wear them enough, but I’ve proven myself wrong and they’ve become some of my most worn pants. One thing to note is that they definitely run big — I went down 2 sizes and they still have the perfect oversized fit that I love.
FRIDAY: Freda Salvador just came out with a new Barely There collection and it is right up my alley!! They sent me all four styles to test out and they are all so beautiful and cool and minimalist. I built this outfit around the sandals because I wanted to wear them right away.
SATURDAY: I went with the exact same outfit and just swapped the pants!
SATURDAY NIGHT: For a dinner out with girlfriends, I kept it monochrome with a black tee and black jeans. To complete the look, I added gold and black accessories, including this new belt from Aureum (NatalieB20) and some new black heels from Freda Salvador (15BORTON for first order). The earrings and ring are both part of the Natalie Borton Designs x THATCH collection that launches this week!
SUNDAY: Bermuda shorts > micro shorts. I’ve seen a lot of long shorts inspo floating around and remembered an old pair of long Everlane shorts I had tucked away in a drawer, so I decided to play around with the trend a bit. While I still would prefer loose pants to long shorts, I’m all for comfort and can testify that long shorts definitely feel better than itty bitty ones! It was fun to try something new.
MONDAY: The weather is gorgeous this week (low- to mid-70s and sunny all week long) so I finally took the opportunity to bust out my olive green dress from La Ligne. It’s so comfortable and I love the design and fit (Natalie10 for 10% off). I styled it with a rope belt and the minimalist sandals I can’t stop wearing (15BORTON for first order). The corduroy jacket made yet another appearance and is proving to be a very versatile piece in my wardrobe.
Which of these looks is your favorite? What did you wear this week that you loved? 'I’d love to know!
Love them all but really loving the all black outfit for date night!
I love the Bermuda shorts look!
