I’m glad I read this tonight because it really resonated with me…sometimes in life we get so wrapped up in who has what, who is doing what and we forget what’s really important in our lives. As hard as it can be, it’s so worth it to tune out the noise and focus on what truly matters—being happy with what we have and being happy for others. Negativity and comparing ourselves is not only exhausting but makes us miss out on so much. So thank you for shining a light on this, being self aware, and ultimately choosing happiness in life. -Bri

I recently read “The Gain and The Gap”, which is another excellent book about celebrating the gains we have made from our starting points instead of comparing ourselves to our ideal destination point. Really good read.

Our thoughts create our life! So simple yet so hard to wrap my head around sometimes and also so easy to fall into that scarcity thinking. Thank you for sharing!!! xx, Rae

I agree with everything you said about mindset. It just makes me a me a better human when I understand that there is enough for everyone.

Yes, yes love this! It goes hand in hand with another concept I’ve been noodling on for my Substack: Radical acceptance. That this is the card that I’ve been dealt with and it’s not fair/unfair; what’s the best way to move forward.

Would love the children’s book title for the win/learn concept! We’ve read the little engine that could many times and I love how my kids have internalized the concepts of I think I can and (unrelated to the book) continuous improvement.
