What I Wore This Week #13: 10+ outfit ideas to try this fall.
Plus the suede bag I'm wearing on repeat all season long.
The Mara Bag launched this week and it’s been such a great addition to my fall wardrobe. I love the texture of the suede mixed with the shiny brass handle, and the crossbody strap makes it practical for everyday wear. I wore mine almost every day this week!
I have a big week and weekend ahead with travel, meetings, product launches and sourcing, and a pop-up event, so I didn’t get a chance to put together my usual Week in Review post. Check back in next week for that, and also keep your eyes peeled for my packing list post — as always, I’ll just have a carry-on! Until then, here are the looks I wore recently…1
What was your favorite thing you wore this week?!
P.S. If you’re up in the Carmel/Big Sur area, come say hi on Saturday!! I’ll be popping up at TEJIDO from 12-5pm with Sophie James Wine to sip on and Lady & Larder bites to snack on.
TUESDAY: My new dark denim shirt has proven to be perfect for fall double denim looks. I love it with my go-to bubble jeans and a sweater over the shoulder. Easy, comfortable, cool.

WEDNESDAY: Reformation sent me a new color of their wide leg jeans and I am loving the cream so much! I have this style in a blue denim as well and it’s a great wide-leg pant that I like to keep longer and wear with heels.

THURSDAY (Daytime): Loving a chocolate brown & black color combo for fall!

THURSDAY (Evening): For a family dinner out, I changed into my cream wide leg jeans, a cropped tee and my chocolate brown button blazer. I love the proportions of this outfit!
FRIDAY: I took advantage of the chill in the air and finally wore a sweater! This cardigan is from the store where we’re having our Natalie Borton Designs pop-up in Carmel this weekend!
SATURDAY: We spent our day at a theme park and it was definitely warm outside. This is the only outfit photo I got, which shows the tee & sweater, and on the bottom I wore cream shorts and white sneakers to stay cool and comfortable while walking around.
SUNDAY: Kept it very minimalist with a black tee and jeans, plus accessories to keep it feeling interesting.
MONDAY: Put this into my “favorite outfits” file because I loooooove it. All of my favorite colors in one look, and the loose pants + little top combo I can’t get enough of this year.
Also, I tried on these two sets at The Great and took home the brown — but I’m kind of regretting leaving behind the red! Not sure I need both so I’ll have to think about it longer. (Here are the links to the tees & sweats for you.)

TUESDAY (Morning): Can you guess my favorite color?! Went all out for my morning workout — the sports bra is old, but the other items are still sold and I’ll link them for you. The jacket is a really great piece for fall that can be super casual (like I did here) or more elevated with jeans or even a mini skirt.
TUESDAY (Daytime): I channeled some springtime vibes for a design meeting for some upcoming products we are releasing next year. The top is old from Forte Forte (I bought it while traveling in London a few years ago) and definitely on the more feminine end of my personal style spectrum. But it’s so beautiful and special I don’t think I’d ever get rid of it!

WEDNESDAY: This barn coat might go down in history as my favorite secondhand find. I used GEM Search to find it, and it’s from a brand called Orvis. Pretty sure it’s a mens’ size medium, and I had it shortened to fit me at the right length. All-in, it was around $70 for the jacket and the tailoring. Soooo worth it!

THURSDAY: The tank underneath proved essential, as I definitely wasn’t able to wear the sweater all day, but I thoroughly enjoyed the chill in the air and the gloomy skies for the first half of the day.

Until next time!
xx
