Question: do you think there is a huge quality difference between buying a tank top that’s less expensive from, say, J crew versus the places that you’re buying it from? I’m guessing the answer is yes but it just always feels like a lot of money to spend $85 on a tank top. I just can’t quite bring myself to do that.
Personally, yes. That’s not to say that there aren’t times when a cheaper tank stands the test of time or an expensive one doesn’t get ruined quickly. But for me, these tanks have been worn multiple times a week for YEARS. And I know they’re made responsibly (which I am not necessarily sure about with brands like J.Crew), and they support a small, woman-owned brand, which is important to me as well.
