What I Wore This Week #12: Tees, knits and some epic tall boots.
Also, hope you're not sick of my belt yet, because you're going to keep seeing a lot of it this fall.
This week the heat wave finally cooled off and we got teeny, tiny bits of fall weather. San Diego still has a lot of heat coming our way, but I try to cherish the moments when the weather feels seasonally appropriate. As usual, you’ll see lots of casual looks in this post — I loved this week of outfits, but if I had to choose a favorite, I think I’d pick Sunday!
Keep reading to see what I wore and hopefully get inspiration for how you can wear some of the pieces you already have in your closet.1
What was your favorite thing you wore this week?!
TUESDAY: I went for a classic (and comfortable) outfit with a modern touch thanks to this tee with cutoff sleeves. It adds a cool factor that I love.
WEDNESDAY: Loose pants and loose top were the name of the game. I added a little polish with ballet flats, a sweater over the shoulder and my hair pulled back.
THURSDAY: A jeans and tee always works! I think this outfit works well because the tee has an interesting & different sleeve, and the jeans have a curved shape vs a more classic shape. It feels fresh and modern, and it’s elevated and finished off with key accessories: a great pair of stud earrings, a statement ring and my go-to belt.
FRIDAY: A quick post-workout selfie because the one-shoulder sports bra is new (gifted) and I love it so much. Also, truly so obsessed with the knit dress. Comfortable, sexy, effortless and cool.
SATURDAY: Casual and comfortable for running my kids around to their activities. This is very much one of my “uniforms” in this stage of life.
SUNDAY: This felt a little bold for me, but I’m so glad I went for it! I wore it to church and also to a family dinner out, and I felt great in it all day long. Long shorts are a current trend I’ve wanted to jump in on since I already owned these ones, but I haven’t fully nailed a look that felt like “me” until I landed on this one. Will be repeating, for sure!!
MONDAY: We got our very first hints of fall with a cool breeze and a little bit of gloom and I loved every minute of it.
Until next time!
xx

Love the fall transition outfits! as always, you’re effortless and chic! Question about the Jada flats- I got my regular size and they are SMALL! Do they really stretch that much or did you find you needed to still size up 1/2 size? Thanks!
I loved wearing my Everlane barrel pants!! They somehow go with everything? Paired it with a polished tee and Alex Mill cardigan this week to accommodate a cooler morning and warmer afternoon. More ways I’ve worn these unicorn pants here, if anyone’s interested! https://zellabit.substack.com/p/everlanes-unicorn-utility-barrel?r=45voqz
