What I Wore This Week #10: One-shoulders, button ups & bubble jeans.
Also, chocolate brown is taking over my closet and I'm not mad about it.
I absolutely cannot stop wearing the Bubble Jeans that FRAME sent me to try a couple of weeks ago. They have very quickly become my go-to jeans and I’m really happy with them — you will see them worn a couple times below, as well as in my Hilton Head packing list (they were great for traveling in). You’ll also see the one-shoulder silhouette several times, and a couple of button ups, which are arguably the easiest and most versatile summer shirts ever.
Also, while not shown in these outfit photos, the Basket Tote I’ve been carrying around all spring and summer just came back in stock last night — we have a very small amount and it’s the last time it’ll be available this year, so grab it while you can! Perfectly airy, surprisingly durable, it’s a special piece for sure.
Keep reading to see all of the looks, and let me know in the comments which one is your favorite!1
MONDAY: Laid back and effortless to ease into the week. I love this matching set for any day, but it would also be especially great as a travel set.
TUESDAY: Just the basics for a work from home day.
WEDNESDAY: I elevated the jeans and tee with a low heel and a cool bag to keep it from feeling too casual.
THURSDAY: This was my outfit of the week for sure — absolutely loved the way this “short suit” concept played out, especially with the loafers. I think the one shoulder tank also keeps things interesting. Will be repeating again soon for sure!!
FRIDAY: This ultra lightweight cardigan was sent to me by La Ligne and I really like it with the top tucked in to create a v-neck neckline. And of course, I paired it with the bubble jeans!
FRIDAY NIGHT: We did a date night at the Padres game and it felt a bit too warm for jeans & cardigan, so I changed into shorts and my one-shoulder tank, bringing along a cotton pullover in case it did end up cooling down.
SATURDAY: This is the kind of outfit that looks dressed up but is in fact extremely low effort and comfortable. Do not underestimate the power of a great dress, slicked back bun and gold hoops.
SUNDAY: While organizing my closet, I rediscovered this chocolate brown maxi skirt that ABLE sent me last year that I have never worn!! Thinking back to when they first released it, I believe it was fall/winter and I tend to favor jeans and trousers at that point in the year. I must have tucked it away to wear in the spring/summer but forgotten about it. Either way, very happy to have it out in the open and visible in my closet now. I really love it paired with the rope belt, too!
Until next time!
xx

I love the loafers. Feels like a great investment piece. Is Freda your favorite brand for loafers? Have you tried any other brands you like?
